Over the years, through experience and research, we have developed a unique set of ways to make sure that we manage our bankroll well. I am going to share one of them with you here.

 

The trick is to make sure that you always have plenty of money in reserve to keep you going if you have any losses. You have to be disciplined enough to have enough bankroll whatever the outcome.

 

When starting out, many bettors keep their bank roll small, usually spending around 2% when they start out. However, they quickly get bored because the size of their wins and profit is so small. For example, if you started with HKD 3,000, 2% of your bankroll would be HKD 60. It is much better to bet a little more, so that you can make a decent profit, enjoy the process and still have enough to cover any future losses.

 

Therefore it is really important to calculate an amount to bet from your starting bankroll and stick to it, for every bet, regardless of what happens. I would recommend that you find 5 % of your starting bankroll, and use that amount only, for every single bet. In this way, you will make a profit that you can enjoy, but still be able to keep yourself going whatever the outcome of each bet. Although it is hard to stop yourself spending more, especially after a big win, it is essential if you want to increase your bankroll at a steady rate to keep winning long term.
